2026 Middle School Student Leadership Conference Phase 1 - Waitlist Form

The 2026 Middle School Student Leadership Conference, hosted by Rundle College and Calgary French & International School from May 5 to 8, is now full. Schools may join the waitlist using this form.

Submitting this form does not confirm participation. If a space becomes available, we will contact you in the order submissions were received and provide next steps for full registration.

This program is only open to CAIS Schools.

When: May 5–8, 2026
Hosted by: Rundle College & Calgary French & International School
Attendees: 4 students and 2 chaperones (6 total per school)
Cost: $375 per registrant, students and chaperones (includes all onsite and offsite programming, most meals, and local transportation)

ADVISORS PLEASE NOTE:
Space is limited. Each school may initially register 4 students. If there is availability for additional students, Leadership Advisors will be notified and given the opportunity to add students. You will be contacted at a later date with a request to complete the Phase 2 registration process. You should have your students chosen by this time.

This program is only open to CAIS Schools.

Registration will close on January 16, 2026. This program requires a minimum of 25 schools to run and can accommodate a maximum of 28 schools. It has sold out in the past and we expect strong demand, so please register early to secure your place.

Notice: In the next phase of registration, we will collect individual student names and additional information to ensure that all participants have a comfortable and inclusive experience. This will include options for indicating dietary restrictions, allergies, and requirements for Kosher/Halal food.

Cancellation Policy:

CAIS reserves the right to cancel an event or program if there is insufficient enrolment. In the unlikely event this occurs, participants will be notified in advance and issued a full refund. CAIS is not responsible for any financial obligations incurred by participants because of travel cancellations. Weather-related refunds will not be granted.

In-Person Events Cancellation Policy:

CAIS incurs significant planning and financial commitments for in-person events. Therefore, please carefully review the following cancellation policy:

Cancellations: Registrations can be cancelled up to 30 days before the event start date, less a $150.00 processing fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event's start date or failure to attend will result in an invoice for 100% of the event fee. Cancellation requests must be sent directly to Rachael Brownell Swain at rbswain@cais.ca.

Third-Party Cancellation Costs: CAIS contracts with third parties (E.g., hotels, catering companies, transportation, etc.) to support in-person programming. These costs are negotiated and at times non-refundable. We attempt to accommodate changes in registrations and cancellations. However, cancellation of registration may still result in costs to the school if a third-party vendor charges CAIS. These costs are out of CAIS’s control and will be passed on to schools on a cost-recovery basis.
