CAIS National Student Leadership

“CAIS schools encourage involvement of all students in leadership programs.”

CAIS is dedicated to providing opportunities for student growth and leadership. CAIS schools offer a wide range of activities where students can engage in areas outside of the classroom.

CAIS provides national student leadership opportunities for middle and senior school students:

  • Senior School Student Leadership Conference: At the SSLC, around 130 Canadian independent school student leaders come together to develop their leadership skills, complete a service project, and connect with other like-minded leaders from top schools across Canada. With guidance from a staff advisor, students from the host school develop programming, schedule speakers, and organize trips to showcase their region.

  • CAIS Middle School Student Leadership Conference: Offers students the chance to listen to inspiring speakers, participate in informative workshops and activities, and develop their leadership skills.
