Strengthen Your School Leadership

CAIS values the constant and deliberate quest for excellence, and we recognize the vital leadership role that governors play, in partnership with Heads, in the success of our schools. We want all of our schools to have strong Heads who focus on supporting the students of the present, but we also want strong Boards that focus on supporting the students of the future.

The Governance Guide include new learning on a number of areas, including Human Resources, Risk Management, Head Transitions, and Consent Agendas.

2015 KPI Benchmarking Overview: Next Steps In Helping Deliver Decision-Making Information

View Recording

Standard: Finance (Spring Standard Series)

Date: May 30, 2016

Please join Innovative Research Group by webinar to review the redesigned 2015 Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Benchmarking report and a discussion on proposed next steps on maximizing value for CAIS member schools.

In the Fall of 2015, CAIS hired Innovative Research Group to re-imagine, design and executive the development of the 2015 KPI Benchmarking report. The KPI Benchmarking exercise provides an opportunity for CAIS member schools to compare aspects of their operations with their peers. The purpose of benchmarking is to allow a school to identify disparities in certain aspects of its performance, which may lead to discussions about whether the school would like to see improvements in those areas. It is up to each school’s administrators to decide whether variances need to be investigated and, if so, to use their knowledge to identify reasons for the differences and take action where appropriate.

Who should participate:
Heads, Chairs, Business Officers, SMT and other users of the KPI Benchmarking report.
